I've grew up with doubts and fears that I wasn't good enough as a person until one day I met a man named Jesus! In the Word of God, one of my favorite scriptures is 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV). It says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Every time I embark on something that makes me fearful, I repeat this verse over and over, reminding me of these wonderful gifts God has given me to fight fear off.
One day sitting at my desk at work, I was talking to God about a few things on my heart. In a small voice, I heard Him say "hope." Not fully understanding, I just wrote it down and asked "what about hope?" That's when He gave my the title for this blog. HOPE....Having Optimism Per Experience.... I couldn't help but laugh because God always knows what to say at the right time.
I tend to be optimistic most of the time. At least, I like to think I am, haha. One thing I always say is, "I never have a bad day; just experiences that I can learn from. They will only make me stronger!" We can always learn something when going through any situation, whether it's losing your keys, getting a promotion or saying goodbye to a loved one. It's how we use wisdom, understanding and knowledge to get through it to bring hope on every outcome.
Until next time, just remember, "You never have a bad day; just experiences that you can learn from."
All the Best!
