I know when we speak about relationships often times were thinking about our spouse... or boyfriend... or girlfriend.... but what about other relationships we might have?"
We don't consider friendships, relationships with our siblings or parents, co-workers and people we come into contact with regularly as a "relationship? We immediately think about someone we are dating or married to.
Sometimes.... we think that the relationship will always be there with that person or loved one.
What happens when they don't want to be in your life
Do you go seeking new friends?
Do you sit silently by yourself?
Where do you go?!
What do you do?!
Talk to God about the relationship and the hardship you may be going through with it. Allow God to use us in our relationships.
There is always purpose with every relationship!
YES, it may hurt right now!
YES, you may want to give up on people and in having a relationship with anyone else.
YES, your trust in people may be bruised.
There's a God that loves you. God wants to have a relationship with you. He wants to help you deal with past hurt relationships. He'll show you what came out of that relationship and turn it around for good.
If no one else is with you.....just know God is always there. He has your back and will get you through the hardest of struggles.
It is said in scripture,
"I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me." Psalm 16:8
Speaking of relationships....
What about the relationship with yourself? How does that stack up to any relationship that you have in your life? Do you put yourself at the top, in the middle somewhere or do you forget about yourself all together?
Let's make time for ourselves! Maybe that's why you were set apart in a time like this because you were supposed to be getting closer to yourself.
Let's turn around our relationships from being all right to being fantastic! Let's learn from our experiences with every relationship that we ever encountered!
Just remember, you never have a bad day or relationships... just bad experiences that you can learn from!
All the Best!
