I'm sure you read the title and thought sure everyone says, "I am special" but how true can it actually be? There are billions of people around the world and call it crazy, but you are special.
How is that remotely possible, you ask? Your life is like no one else's. Your life stories, what you like and don't like, your memories, your response and reaction is like no other. Your laugh, your cry, your personality and your characteristics whether physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally are different from other people. You are like no other in this world.....which makes you special. Big deal, right? ...or are you still not convinced? What if I told you someone needs you to love on them and without you entering their lives they might get complacent? Feeling special now? No? Okay, what if I say you can help unlock the door to their freedom...a release from their bondage....a stepping stone for their confidence like you someone did for you? That's HUGE! The amount of love and encouragement that you can pour into someone to get them to a place where they feel loved, like they mattered and cared for is such a blessing and a humbling opportunity.
The Bible speaks on this in Galatians 5:13, which reads:
"For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love."
Not everyone serves in love the same...which makes that person special!
Have you ever waited for a call and received the best news which made you so overwhelmed that you wanted to share it with others with joy and love? Well freedom is your best news and love is the way to share it. Not only does everything about you make you special, but the love of Christ within you that exudes so freely makes you special to God and to others.
Go out and be the best you! Shine your love on other! And smile along the journey!
Always remember: you never have a bad day; just bad experiences that you can learn from!
